MOSAIC Multi-Agency Centre and Community Resource Centre
The work on the MOSAIC project is wide ranging and covers all aspects of project management. Since contract commencement in May 2006 PMG Consult have delivered against a detailed workplan for the procurement of this 20,000sq.ft resource centre in Castlebar town centre. Working with a partnership team PMG Consult are managing design and planning, communications, funding and finance, partnership development and marketing of the centre in the run up to construction.
Albany Home Décor Group Ireland: Future Growth Strategy & Implementation
Development of a business growth strategy for the Albany Home Décor Group. The group are an association of over 30 specialist home décor retailers in Ireland seeking to move to a more formal co-operative structure with growth ambitions to be the principle specialist retail brand in the country. The work has involved primary and secondary research and market analysis, consultations with key supplier and scenario planning to progress a future growth strategy and action plan to double the group in size and become the No. 1 specialist brand in Ireland by 2010.
Mayo Social Inclusion Unit Scoping
A niche research based project to scope the demands and nature for the establishment of a Social Inclusion Unit within Mayo County Council. The study examined the profile of poverty and social exclusion in Mayo which benchmarked the county in a national and regional context and within certain thematic and demographic categories. The project also looked at some of the key organisational challenges and opportunities for the establishment of a SIU in Mayo County Council and how such as resource could evolve in line with certain CBD objectives and priorities.
BBC Relocation Advise & Development Framework
The scoping of location options for 4 commissioning depts for BBC as part of the forthcoming regionalisation strategy. The work involved a demand assessment of the occupation needs of the partners and the technical specifications for the integration into a Media Village in Manchester city centre. Also as part of this work a development framework and contracts negotiation was realised.
Knowsley Local Enterprise Growth Initiative
The development of a programme of enterprise and entrepreneurship support projects and incentives to stimulate new business starts, enterprise training, SME growth and innovation and social enterprise development for the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside. The LEGI bit and strategy is to fund and support projects from 2007 to 2011 with a total financial package of £20m.
Finningley Airport Skills Strategy
The development of a strategy and action plan to address the skills needs of airport related employers in planning for the proposed development of Finningley as an international airport in South Yorkshire. The wider strategy sought to integrate with the M18 corridor SEZ and other Doncaster economic development plans.
